Left my heart on the Central Coast… (at Margo Dodd Beach Park)
McWay Cove, Big Sur, Central Coast of California, USA (by Ezekiel.vg)
Missing this and home quite a bit lately (always around this time of year, and when under a considerable amount of stress)…I could just really go for some temperate climate and habitats. The scent of some redwoods, and just that essence of the Pacific.

A little relief from winter, a warm day in January. (at South Hills Open Space)
It’s been rather frigid for the Central Coast, with evenings dipping low into the 30s, inciting frost and shivers. So this is a welcome change, a gorgeous forecast of temperatures in the 70s in mid-January!
I’m going to miss this town/county/state. Just a little bit, maybe.

Long overdue hike with @rfrew. (at Cuesta Ridge)
Views all the way to Pismo Beach and Morro Bay. It was windy throughout the pass; I thought I was going to get blown off the ridge! The view into the canyon/valley, train tracks traveling through the green rolling hills, was the highlight. It looked like a miniature Ireland from up above.
