Lantern Floating Ceremony for Memorial Day near Ala Moana Beach Park. You can actually be in the water as these paper lanterns with messages to loved ones drift past.
It’s one of the most peaceful, beautiful, and powerful experiences I have ever had, and not just while living on the island.
(And I was interviewed on television for it! Shameless self-promotion, sorry.)
